A three-star hotel, the Saigon Tourane has more than 82 guest rooms and suites on five floors, as well as two restaurants and other services.
The Saigon Tourane Hotel is part of the SaigonTourist group, the largest government-owned tourist company.

In Vietnamese
the phrase “binh thuòng” means “so-so” and is used in a lot of different
situations. The Saigon Tourance Hotel is
aptly described as “binh thuòng.”
It’s not clear exactly what
would constitute a “central” location in Da
Nang, but this hotel’s proximity to the river and
location on the Lonely Planet map makes it decently situated.
The entrance of the hotel is
recessed from the street, which provides a small measure of quietude, at least
when in the lobby itself. Said lobby is not quite inviting but not off-putting
either. The staff is also so-so.
The hallways are okay,
though they have boring carpeting. The beds are not entirely comfortable, and
views are not very nice either. There is decent shower pressure in the vented
bathrooms. Some of rooms smell a bit
musty.
The sauna and massage area
is drab and, at least in this reviewer’s estimation, a bit sketchy. Breakfast is included in the room rate.
