This is a surprisingly nice hotel with a great location on the banks of the Perfume River.  At first glance the complex appears very compound-like, which normally isn’t a good sign, but this hotel manages to pull it off.

The lobby is nice and airy, though not particularly well-lit. The staff is very nice and helpful.  The hallways feel palatial.  They are a bit dimly lit, perhaps, but they slowly arc around the large building and create a nice ambiance. 

The views from the river view rooms are predictably nice; the views from the garden view rooms are unexpectedly nice.   The rooms themselves are well-lit and have nice light-wood furniture.  The bathrooms are clean, the water pressure is great, and the rooms have nice big windows.  Most rooms also have balconies. 

There is a restaurant on the third floor with beautiful views and a nice, airy vibe. A riverside restaurant features live music nightly from a piano/violin duet.  There is also a new Korean restaurant. 

Other facilities include a small but fairly adequate fitness center, a decent pool area, and a very nice massage/sauna/steam room/Jacuzzi area.  Use of the facilities, including a 1+ hour massage, ranges from $10 – 15 USD.  There is also a small casino.

Overall, this place is large but nice.
