iViVu Review (Date of review:
07/2007
)
|
|
There is definitely a big
and soulless vibe to this place, at least from its front. Once you pass through the pretty standard
lobby and get out to the back bar, you see the Perfume River,
which is beautiful and tranquil.
The hallways are unexciting,
though it’s admittedly hard to define what would constitute an exciting
hallway. The rooms themselves have new
wood-like floors and not-so-comfortable beds, and the bathrooms are very ordinary. Garden view rooms do not have views of a
garden.
There are two well-finished
but not-shaded tennis courts. The
restaurant has nice river views, and there is also a nice pool area with a
fairly small pool that overlooks the river.
The cushions on the pool-side chairs are not so nice.
The hotel provides a fairly
inadequate fitness equipment center and a sketchy massage area.
