| Dear customers! |
On September 2 1945, Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnam's independence to
the world. 62 years later, what better way to exercise your freedom than a
bit of regional travel to some of Southeast Asia's most exciting cities. In
particular:
- Bangkok: At the nexus of Indian and Chinese influence, this city
holds both cultural and pop cultural attraction.
- Singapore: Perhaps the best run city-state in the world, Singapore
offers timely transportation and stellar shopping.
- Hong Kong: This thriving port island was first staked out by British
opium traders in the mid-1800's. The opium's been replaced by
financial markets and Britain 's been replaced by China, but the
island still has global appeal.
- Kuala Lumpur: KL has the tallest buildings in the world. It also has
some really delicious food
For those who crave city life but not visas, try spending a little time at one of
the two metropolitan poles of Vietnamese living: the increasingly
international HCMC or the unendingly unique Ha Noi.
Safe travels, and if you need anything, let us know!
