 Kien serves as Chairman of iViVu, as well as the Chief Executive Officer of the Thien Minh group and Buffalo Tours.
Kien started in the tourism industry as a young medical doctor who made extra money as a tour guide while finishing his degree. After completing medical school, Kien launched Buffalo Tours in 1994 as a small tour operator with a handful of employees. Through his hard work and dedication, Buffalo Tours has grown into a premier inbound tour operator with more than 200 employees bringing 12,000+ customers to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos each year.
Recently, Kien has turned his attention beyond Buffalo Tours to the growing tourism industry in Vietnam. Thien Minh is quickly becoming one of the most exciting travel companies in Vietnam, with new companies including CholonTourist, iViVu, and Intrepid Indochina (a joint-venture between Thien Minh and Intrepid Travel in Australia), as well as new hotel and transportation tourism properties.

 Mary is a co-founder and Managing Director of iViVu.
Mary originally came to Vietnam with a grant from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), during which time she worked on USAID’s Vietnam Competitive Initiative (VNCI) and taught in the MBA program at the Hanoi School of Business. Afterwards, she worked at VASC Software & Media, a large Internet, media and telecomm company, and as a Senior Consultant to IDG Ventures Vietnam to evaluate the online travel market in Vietnam before founding iViVu.
Prior to coming to Vietnam, Mary completed her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School and worked in mergers & acquisitions for two boutique investment banking firms.
Mary completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA) undergraduate degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where she graduated magna cum laude. While at Georgetown, Mary served as the President and CEO of the Students of Georgetown, Inc (the “Corp”), one of the largest student-run companies in the world.

 Phuong is a co-founder and Director of Operations and Technology at iViVu, overseeing the technical and web design team as well as the company’s daily operations.
Phuong (called “David” in English after his many years in Sydney) graduated from the University of Technology (UTS), Sydney in 2001. While still at UTS, he also worked as Senior Developer at Meniscus, an Australian web development company. After graduating from UTS, he ran his own software and web development company in Sydney from 2001 until 2003.
During his time in Australia, Phuong oversaw projects including e-commerce, job search (Travellers at Work), multimedia, payment gateway (PVY Payment Gateway), point-of-sale, stock market (TD Waterhouse Australia, deListed), and travel and hotels (Peppers).
After returning to Vietnam in 2003, Phuong opened and oversaw family businesses and then returned to his roots in software development with the creation of Minh Phuong Software & Media, which became the founding company of iViVu.
